Selkirk Street in Petawawa has a “haunted house”.
The Haunting on Selkirk is a Halloween display put together by a local family.
Alisha Rinas says they started getting things ready after the Labour Day long-weekend.
Rinas says they’ve been decorating for three years now and with COVID last year they wanted to do something big to get the kids out.
She adds this year they have 83 pallets on their front lawn for tunnels and pathways to walk through.
The Haunting on Selkirk will have a dedicated time for little ones to check out displays between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Halloween.
Rinas encourages kids, teenagers and everyone to come check out the display and says they have over a dozen animatronics to scare you.
The Petawawa family says they have enough for about 1,000 trick-or-treaters.
Rinas says they will also be collecting for the food bank and adds they’re taking part in the Teal Pumpkin Project for kids who can’t have treats or candy.
You can check out the Haunting on Selkirk Street in Petawawa at the corner of Edith Street.
