Changes are coming to council in Whitewater Region.
Following the 2022 municipal election, the Reeve position will be replaced with a Deputy Mayor.
The Deputy Mayor will be voted in through an election.
In addition, the Mayor of Whitewater Region will sit on County Council instead of the Reeve or Deputy Mayor.
