
The province is reviewing a proposal from the Deep River and District Hospital for a new 96-bed long-term care home.
The Four Seasons Lodge long-term care home would be developed in Deep River and include the upgrade of 10 existing beds and development of 86 new beds.
Subject to meeting all requirements, a license with a term of up to 30-years would be issued.
Public consultation on the process is currently available.
The Ministry of Long-Term Care is looking to gather public input before deciding on a licensing proposal for a long-term care home.
These consultations are for anyone — including long-term care home residents, families, staff and other community members — to provide their opinions on a proposed licensing transaction relating to a long-term care home.
The public consultation process closes February 3rd, 2022.
