The cold weather is helping with ice making in the Ottawa Valley.
Both outdoor skating rinks in Pembroke are now open for the season.
The ice surface at Rotary Park is ready to go after “closed” signs were up over the weekend.
The rink at Kinsmen Park in Pembroke is also open for the public to use.
Both outdoor rinks in Pembroke are open until 10:00pm with lights on to help skaters see at night.
COVID-19 regulations must be followed and it’s highly recommended that everyone wear a helmet while on the ice.
