Ryan Hickey has been in the Ottawa Valley his whole life. He tells myFM that he most enjoys being with friends, and is also an avid sports fan. Loves the Montreal Canadians of the NHL and is also a big fan of the Edmonton Elks. But notes he wasn’t a major fan when the Canadian football team changed their name. Over the years, he’s spent a lot of time volunteering with the Salvation Army. Especially around the Christmas season. At a young age, Ryan was diagnosed with Aspergers. Something he says has limited his lifestyle. However, Hickey has adapted to his diagnoses and says he likes going about life at his own pace. Over the years, Ryan says he has grown a love of writing. While it may take time to complete, he enjoys the process.
