Killaloe OPP have charged a driver, seized their license and impounded their vehicle after they were caught travelling 129 kilometers an hour (km/hour) over the speed limit.
Police say just before 11:00am on Thursday, January 27, 2022, officers conducted a traffic stop on an SUV on Highway 60 in South Algonquin Township.
The 36 year old driver from London, United Kingdom, was found to be travelling at 189 km/hour in a posted 60 km/hour zone.
Police remind motorists aggressive driving is dangerous and is a leading causal factor in fatal motor vehicle collisions on OPP patrolled roads.
