The Beer Store in Pembroke is undergoing some work and has been closed for a week.
In a press release sent to myFM from The Beer Store, the company says the Pembroke location was closed for maintenance and updates.
Vice President of Retail, Ozzie Ahmed, says “The Beer Store plans to clean and attend to any roof, structure, insulation, and HVAC issues for this location.”
The work required staff to remove products from the cooler which is why the store was closed during maintenance.
The Beer Store says maintenance is ongoing and represents one of many stores that will receive the same attention across the province.
Ahmed says, “The Beer Store is aware of some recent customer concerns about the convenience of returning empty alcohol containers and questions about the store status.”
The Beer Store says they are committed to the Pembroke location, appreciate that the temporary closure impacted some customers, value customer’s patience and look forward to serving them as soon as possible.
The Beer Store location in Pembroke was scheduled to reopen Wednesday morning (March 30th, 2022) at 10:00am, however work is ongoing.
Signs were still up this morning at the store on Nelson Street saying the location was temporarily closed between March 23rd and 30th.
