The Killaloe OPP is investigating a suspicious death.
Police officers were called out to a home in Killaloe on Thursday afternoon (April 14th, 2022) shortly before 2:00 pm.
A 42-year-old female was located inside the residence and her identity is not being released at this time.
A post mortem examination took place on April 16th, 2022 in Ottawa.
Investigators do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, Renfrew County Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services, Community Street Crime Unit, the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services are assisting with the investigation.
