The gas pumps at the Irving Big Stop in Pembroke have been ripped out and are in the process of being replaced.
The owner, Andre Leclair, tells myFM the gas pumps will be out for five weeks as they upgrade equipment to better serve customers.
While gas is currently unavailable, diesel is still for sale at pumps for large trucks.
Leclair says after the five week renovation on the retail gas pumps, they will be undertaking a big project that will see the diesel pumps down for six weeks.
New diesel pumps and a large canopy for the truckers will be installed.
The convenience store located inside the Irving Big Stop and restaurant remain open during the renovation process.
