Burdan says it’s important and healthy to challenge yourself.
Audio PlayerShe says one of the biggest mistakes she made was thinking that not-eating food was the right way to loose weight. Burdan says every couple of hours she is putting nutrious food into her body with proteins at every meals. Once a week, she will spend a few hours meal prepping to have healthy options to choose from.
In terms of fitness, Burdan says she does strength training about five times a week and cardio once a week, but also likes to hit 10,000 steps a day. She also enjoys going for hikes and taking in natures energy.
Burdan says if she wins the $20,000 grand prize, she plans to take some time off work, go on a trip with her 7-year-old son and partner, pay-off some bills and get her hair and nails done.
Audio PlayerYou can vote online here starting April 26th at 1:00pm. The next round of voting opens May 12th.
Burdan says you can send her a message on Facebook or reach out to her on Instagram if you have any questions and she might be able to point you in the right direction and share some tips and tricks that worked for her.
