Algonquin College has appointed a new Acting Dean for the Waterfront Campus in Pembroke.
The information was shared online this afternoon (April 27th, 2022).
Sarah Hall joined the college as a part-time staff member in 2007 and was hired full-time in 2012.
In 2018 she became the Chair of the Business, Technology and Outdoor Training Department.
Prior to working for the College, Hall was employed for over fifteen years with both Health Canada and Environment Canada where her early work focused on water quality monitoring and remote sensing.
Hall holds a Bachelor’s of Science (Hon) in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University and a Master’s of Science in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University.
She replaces Dr. Keltie Jones, who took over as Dean in 2019.
