The Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes candidates from our local provincial riding, Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke, for a debate via video conference on Thursday, May 19th.
Chamber Executive Director Kelly Hollihan says the hour long zoom conference will start at noon and offer candidates a chance to offer a broad vision for area businesses moving forward.
Hollihan adds that the questions will be centered around creating predictability and stability in the local economy, which was the main subject of an election-centric report from the the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
The debate will be followed by a meet-and-greet cocktail party at the Clarion Hotel in Pembroke at 5PM. Hollihan says it’ll be an opportunity for business owners and leaders who may not have had the chance to skip lunch for the debate to ask their questions directly to candidates.
Learn more and register for both on the Chamber’s website.
