
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating a robbery in Petawawa.
Police say around 3:50am this morning (July 13th, 2022), an unknown individual entered the convenience store on Petawawa Boulevard and demanded cash from an employee.
Nobody was injured, but the person fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
No weapon was used and the suspect appears to have been wearing a gas mask and pajamas at the time of the robbery.
The OPP is describing the person of interest as a white heavy-set male, wearing a dark blue Under Armour hoodie with an insignia, blue plaid pants, black shoes, yellow gloves, and a black respirator-style mask covering their face.
Police are interested in speaking with anyone in the Limestone Trail area that may have security and/or doorbell camera footage from July 13, 2022, between the hours of 3:00 to 4:00 a.m.
