Environment Canada is calling for hot and humid weather today and tomorrow as they’ve called a heat warning for the Ottawa Valley.
Daytime highs will reach near thirty-one degrees as the humidex will jump out into the mid-to-high thirties over the next two days.
They warn that humid weather can worsen air quality for the region, and to watch for the signs of heat illness, such as swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and the worsening of some health conditions.
Temperatures are expected to cool off slightly come Thursday.
