A new feature for Pembroke Regional Hospital is on the way: a Giving Garden.
The hospital says the garden will be located on the ground floor at Tower B and will offer people wishing to donate to the hospital a unique way to give back.
PRH Foundation President Roger Martin tells myFM that plaques in honour of a loved one can be purchased, and will remain at the garden for up to three years. You will also have the chance to place the plaque in the garden yourself, and have a photo taken to commemorate the moment.
Community Fundraising Specialist Leigh Costello tells myFM that the Foundation is “thrilled with how this project turned out and know it will be enjoyed by donors and hospital patrons for years to come.”
Costello also offered special thanks to Lana Murphy of Astrid’s Floral Boutique for setting up the Giving Garden.
Plaques can purchased at the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s website.
