Culture Fest is coming to Pembroke. Event coordinator Dorian Pearce says they have a full line-up of events from August 13th to 20th. He adds Culture Fest is expanding on the Multicultural Festival, which will be hosted by the Pembroke Public Library on Saturday, August 20th.
Pearce says Culture Fest is to highlight and celebrate the diverse cultures and people that live in the community.
He’s hopeful the event grows on an annual basis. You can get more information online or by following the Culture Fest Facebook and Instagram pages.
Culture Fest will have live music, workshops and special events such as the puppet performance that will take over Victoria Street, a paint night on the patio at Studio Dreamshare and a kick off event as the Champlain Trail Museum becomes the Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre.
Below is the schedule for the first ever Culture Fest in Pembroke.
