The 2022 edition of the Petawawa Ramble is just around the corner. Val Hyska, Owner of Your Independent Grocers in Petawawa, says they had a great turn out at the launch event last week.
Hyska says last year they had roughly 55 businesses register and make displays in the community.
The Petawawa Ramble and Pumpkin People Festival started in 2019 and has grown over the last 3-years.
Economic Development Officer for the Town of Petawawa, Christine Mitchell, says the business community and local residents get creative with some of their ideas.
Residents and businesses can enter displays with prizes handed out to the top contestants.
You have until the end of this week to sign up if you want to take part in the Petawawa Ramble. Businesses can register online here and residents can sign up here.
Mitchell says a map will be created and over Thanksgiving weekend the judges will go around to check out the different displays.
The Petawawa Ramble will also features special events such as the Harvest Walk, Ramble Scavenger Hunt, Children’s Activities and the Pints and Gourds musical event.
The 2022 edition of the Petawawa Ramble will be hosted October 14th, 15th and 16th.
