Pembroke Mayor Michael LeMay will be among the first in the city to sign a book of condolences following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Pembroke Mayor says many local residents continue to mourn the death of the Queen.
The City of Pembroke is also lowering flags to half-mast to pay respects.
The book of condolences will be made available for local residents to sign starting this morning. LeMay says the book of condolences will be available at City Hall until after the Queen’s funeral and then sent to the Royal Family.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully on September 8th at the age of 96 after spending 70-years on the throne.
