It’s a Halloween tradition at the Petawawa Public Library.
Liz Pombiere, the Children and Teen Services Coordinator, says they are opening the doors at the library in Petawawa for a spooky and frightful night.
The Haunted Stacks event will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Pombiere says the first hour of the event will be for the younger audience.
The Petawawa Public Library says in past years they’ve seen between 250 to 400 people participate.
The event is put on by teen volunteers who share ideas and get community hours for helping out.
Pombiere says they are always looking for teen volunteers to help out with special events and you can contact the library for more information.
