The football program is back at Fellowes High School in Pembroke. Head Coach Chris Cooper says they have a great group of players that are ready to go.
Players and coaches are excited to be back on the field for the first time since 2019 after cancellations the last two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Team Captain and Defensive Safety Isaac Morel was able to play for the team in Grade 9 and says it’s great to have sports back at school. Now in Grade 12 and one of the leaders on the team, Morel says to watch out for the offense.
Team Manager and teacher at Fellowes Tammy Cayer says they are looking for sponsors to help support the team.
The Falcons are on the road Thursday, October 13th and will have their next home game on Monday, October 17th, starting at 2:00pm against Campbellford.
