David Unrau will be the next Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of Pembroke.
Unrau will work with outgoing CAO Terry Lapierre during a transition period starting November 13th and formally take over the position on December 13th.
Unrau says he is privileged to join the team at the City of Pembroke, serve the residents and looks forward to working with the new council and staff.
For the past 10-years, Unrau has held the position of Director of Public Works with the Town of Petawawa and he thanks the Town for their support and development over the last decade.
As a former City of Pembroke employee, Unrau worked as Manager of Works, Engineering and Utilities from 2001 to 2006.
Unrau is a long-time Pembroke resident, a professional engineer, a community volunteer and sits on a number of municipal, national and provincial committees.
Pembroke Mayor Mike LeMay is glad to have David return to the City of Pembroke and
bring his vast experience, knowledge, and leadership to the role of CAO.
