The Township of Laurentian Valley is inviting the community out to see the election results on Monday, October 24th. The election results will be posted at the Shady Nook Rec Centre after polls close at 8:00pm. Doors will open at 7:00pm and all residents are invited to attend.
MUNICIPAL ELECTION CANDIDATES IN LAURENTIAN VALLEY
Laurentian Valley Mayor Steve Bennett has been acclaimed.
Chris Pleau and Keith Watt are running to be the Reeve and the Township County Councillor.
Nine people are running for the five other seats on council including Jen Gauthier, Wendy Hewitt, Brian Hugli, Danny Janke, Betty King, Stewart Ray, Jason Schulz, Mike Summers and Allen Wren.
