The Spooky Movie Night at the Skylight Drive-In saw almost 400 children participate.
The event was hosted by the Township of Laurentian Valley and City of Pembroke on Saturday, October 15th as a fundraiser for the local food bank.
Township staff say the free movie night saw 190 carloads of people attend with $747.80 in cash donations and a number of food items collected for the St. Joseph’s Food Bank.
The Car Decorating Contest had three separate categories.
- MOST SPOOKY – “The Eyes” decorated by Michelle Gouthro
- MOST CREATIVE – “Swim at Your Own Risk” decorated by Lauralee, Oliver and Ivy
- JUDGES FAVOURITE – “The Witches Cauldron” decorated by Haleigh Bennett, Myah Bennett and Joe Patovirta
