It’s Renfrew County Day at Queen’s Park.
Melissa Marquardt, the Manager of Economic Development, Tourism and Small Business, says it’s a great opportunity to share what Renfrew County is all about.
Marquardt says they have representatives from a number of different sectors including manufacturing, forestry, agriculture, tourism and government.
She adds the County of Renfrew is an excellent place for growth, development and investment, and they want to make sure all the local services and experiences are recognized.
Renfrew County Warden Debbie Robinson and County Councillors Peter Emon and Dan Lynch were among the elected officials in attendance.
Representatives from Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation, the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association (OVTA), Square Timber Brewing, myFM, PlainTree Systems, Lavern Heideman & Sons, Roseburg MDF and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture attended Renfrew County Day at Queen’s Park along with a number of county staff members.
