The Township of Laurentian Valley has approved an extension of the draft approval for a subdivision that will include 305 new homes. The draft plan approval for the Laurentian Meadows (Burcom) subdivision extends from January 7th, 2023 to January 7th, 2024. The draft approval was originally issued by the County of Renfrew in 2016.
Township Planner and Economic Development Officer Lauree Armstrong says the developer is working on a sister subdivision in Pembroke and looking at a phased development with the adjacent draft plan.
The plan for the subdivision includes 151 lots for single detached homes, 46 semi-detached dwellings and 108 townhouse dwellings for a total of 305 new units. The proposed Laurentian Meadows subdivision will be connected to municipal water and sewer services.
