Penny Higson Romain – passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the age of 63 years.Penny Higson of Petawawa, beloved wife and best friend of Larry Romain, and wonderful mother of James Higson. Baby sister to Danny Higson, Donna Higson, Brenda Hewer (Mike), Mona Jawort (Kevin), JoAnne Higson and Brad Higson (Karen). She will also be missed by her nephews Shane Normey (M.L.), Stephen Romain (Cindy) and Nathan Romain (Jen), as well as her many great-nieces & nephews and cousins alike.Respecting Penny’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
