The Pembroke Public Library is hosting “Valentines For Veterans” which allows you to stop by the library and write a heartfelt message in a card that will be sent to a veteran.
Anusha Arul is responsible for programming and outreach at the library and says that you can stop by anytime and request a pre-made card to fill out for a veteran.
Arul says that you may take the card home to work on it if you’d like more time, but the deadline to return it is January 29th.
Arul adds that they are hoping to have a few hundred cards to brighten the Valentine’s Day of many people who have served for our country.
If you would like to sign a card for a veteran, you can visit the Pembroke Public Library at 237 Victoria Street or you can visit their website here.
