The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP have made an arrest following a barricaded person incident in Pembroke.
Wednesday afternoon (January 11th, 2023), the tactics and response unit, emergency response team and canine unit all attended the scene.
The OPP says a Pembroke resident was safely arrested and charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
There were no injuries sustained and no threat to public safety, however a significant police presence was in the area at the time.
