Muriel Pleau (nee Gauthier) passed away at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the age of 86 years.
Muriel Pleau of Pembroke, dear wife of the late Eddy Pleau. Cherished and loving mother of Nancy Gagnon (Roy), Judy Bludd (late Tim), Gerry Pleau (Bonnie), Roger Pleau (Debbie), Carl Pleau (Shelley), Linda Mitchell (Tony), Diane Corrin (Allan), Tina Noseworthy (Stuart) and Susan Lavergne (John). Survived and missed by 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Pembroke Regional Hospital and the Ottawa Heart Institute for their caring support and kindness during this difficult time.Muriel was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 Ladies Auxiliary.
Respecting Muriel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at St. Columba’s cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
