Millions of dollars are being pumped into vitalization projects across the Quebec border.
Pontiac Warden Jane Toller was joined on Thursday, March 9th by her provincial counterpart, André Fortin and other representatives as they announced over $2.6 million to be split between 29 initiatives in the region through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing’s Regions and Rurality Fund.
Toller tells myFM that she’s “extremely proud of the projects that have been approved” and “of our local communities that have mobilized to bring them to life.”
She adds that she’s “convinced that these projects will have a very positive effect on the quality of life” for the citizens of the Pontiac.
