RECOSKIE, Evelyn – Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at the age of 86. Evelyn Recoskie of Petawawa, wife of the late Elmer Recoskie. Loving mother of Cherylann Mielke (Brian Goldberg), Petawawa; Catherine Nieman (Kevin), Petawawa; Heather Pretulac (Dwight), California; the late Arlene Recoskie, Janet Hagar (Mark), Arizona; Carolin Nagle (Byron), Pembroke; and Cindy Yemen (Danny), Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Janice (Dan) & Andrew (Krysta); Gregory (Megan), Stephanie (Bill), & Natalie (Pete); Amanda (Jonathan); Daniel (Julia); Gavan (Brenlee), Derek (Andrea), Amie (Erik), Mitchell & Kurtis; and Alyssa, Kiana & Jessica. Adoring great-grandmother of Emily, Christian, Tia, Cody, Chase, Dawson, Kenneth, Roger, Tyler, Gillian, Keira, Hanna, Peter-Kenneth, Margaret, James, Jayden, Kolton, Gabrielle, Zya, Abel, Brigid, Bower, Aliyah & Elijah.Visitation at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
