
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have laid charges against two with fraud over five-thousand dollars in the hope of reading between the lines.
June seventh, a local business reached out to the police about possible fraud in the form of a loan application. Both suspects were found and arrested the following day.
Patricia Raposo-Cabral, 25 year old from Montreal was arrested for fraud over five-thousand dollars, as well as adult impersonation with intent, and obtained credit card by false pretenses. They were held in custody and await their next court appearance.
Mariuska Landaeta-Campos, 28 year old and also from Montreal, was also arrested, but only for fraud over five-thousand dollars. They will appear before a court in Pembroke in July.
