For the first time since launching in 2004, My Broadcasting Corporation, the parent company to myFM radio, has handed out the MBC Station of the Year award. MBC has 19 radio stations across Ontario and 104.9myFM in Pembroke is the first winner of the award. President Jon Pole breaks down how Pembroke ranked number one.
Pole noted that a highlight this year was myFM purchasing property in Pembroke, digging our roots in the community that much further.
Our President says when thinking of partnering with local media, he wants myFM to be top of mind.
myFM in Pembroke was recognized, not only for revenue, but also for the community engagement and listener retention.
