Stone Fence Theatre is sharing a wrap of its 20th season with fans and patrons.
The original musicals, Tom Thomson & The Colours of Canada and Conspiracy Conniptions were performed 25 times for audiences totalling 3,000.
Next year’s musical production, entitled Miss Pringle’s Mini-Skirt is by Johanna Zomers, with Ish Theilheimer and Kathy Eisner. It is set in 1965 and inspired by and based on Johanna’s columns in The Eganville Leader and her experiences growing up on an isolated farm without electricity in Brudenell, while attending a one-room schoolhouse there.
Supper Theatre will make its return in 2024, using a new model involving culinary delights from Schmidt’s Catering.
There are ambitions to tour Conspiracy Conniptions to many of the same venues Tom Thomson was performed.
A fan and family favourite, the fall matinees see more performances in the works for next season.
To wrap thing up this year, the Annual General Meeting will be held Monday, November 27th at 6:30PM at the Golden Lake Community Hall.
