The annual Pembroke Kiwanis Toy and Food Drive officially kicks off this Thursday at 10am from the Pembroke Mall. Mack Thrasher from the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke tells myFM that says that while the program is successful, they are still in need of helpers.
Thrasher also tells myFM that e-transfer donations has been a major benefit.
When asked where the money goes, Thrasher mentions it’s split between a few organizations.
Shoppers can also drop off toys for children up to the age of 17 at the mall in the lead up to Christmas.
