An incident involving a weapons threat at a local gas station is under investigation by the OPP. Just before 7:30 Thursday night, customers exchanged words at a gas station on Pembroke Street East in Pembroke. One of the involved individuals made threatening remarks while brandishing an edged weapon. The same person damaged the victim’s motor vehicle and then left the area on a bicycle, proceeding westbound towards the Algonquin Trail. The person is described as a 30-year-old white man wearing a black toque and green military-style jacket.
