Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have charged 11 people following a major drug bust in Pembroke. Police say they executed two search warrants at homes on William Street last week. They reportedly found suspected fentanyl and cocaine, along with scales, money, drug paraphernalia and cell phones. Zachary Cochrane, 21, Jesse Lagace, 26, Michelle Lance, 20 of Bonnechere Valley, Derick Timothy Scott Sullivan, 38 of Allumette Island, Christopher Winter, 22 of Bonnechere Valley, Roseanne Mary Gutoskie, 55, Major Charles, 43, of Pembroke, Aidan Patrick Scott, 30, of Clarence-Rockland, and a 16 from Orleans and a 17-year-old from Lanark are all facing the following charges:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
The two accused youths were released to appear at Youth Division of the Ontario Court of Justice at the City of Pembroke on March 14, 2024.
Zachary COCHRANE is additionally charged with three counts of breach of probation and was subsequently released at a bail hearing and is now scheduled to attend court on March 5, 2024, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
Roseanne Mary GUTOSKIE is additionally charged with one count of breach of probation, was released and is scheduled to attend court on March 11, 2024, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
Aidan Patrick SCOTT is additionally charged with two counts of breach of probation and was held for a bail hearing. The accused remains in custody until their next appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on February 2, 2024.
Major CHARLES was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until their next appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 30, 2024.
The remaining accused persons were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 11, 2024.
