Deep River and District Health (DRDH) is elated to announce its revalidation of Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada, marking a significant accomplishment for the organization.
After a thorough four-day assessment in early November, DRDH received a commendable score of 99.3%, securing Accreditation with Exemplary Standing for the second time under the esteemed Qmentum Global Accreditation Program. This achievement, encompassing 1,500 out of Accreditation Canada’s 1,511 applicable standards, underscores DRDH’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Accreditation Canada’s positive report highlighted DRDH’s innovative health campus model, strong community partnerships, high levels of satisfaction among patients, residents, and staff, and successful implementation of its new Strategic Plan. David Cox, DRDH Board Chair, commended the organization’s dedication to quality improvement and person-centered care, emphasizing the exceptional care provided to the communities.
Janna Hotson, DRDH President and CEO, expressed pride in the team’s resilience and compassion, despite the challenges in healthcare. She reiterated DRDH’s commitment to caring for each individual like a loved one and thanked all involved in the survey process for their contributions.
