A Petawawa couple is $100,000 richer thanks to a recent lottery win.
Aidan and Shelby Kreuger of Petawawa won $100,000 playing Instant Gold Pursuit.
The married couple said they typically play Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 but they also enjoy Instant games. The Gold Pursuit ticket caught Aidan’s eye while at the store and he gave it to Shelby to scratch while they had some friends over.
“One of our friends told me we need to scan the ticket to see if it won. So I scanned it and thought we won $10,” said Shelby while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “Our friend told me to look again, and I realized we won $100,000!”
“I was pretty baffled. I couldn’t believe it,” Aidan said as the couple high fived each other. “We feel pretty lucky.”
They plan to put their win toward their mortgage.
“This puts us in a good position to continue to grow our family,” they smiled.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Petawawa Boulevard in Petawawa.
