Excitement continues to build in Laurentian Valley following the announcement of Creative Dev Ventures purchasing 189 acers of land for development. The project is called Urban Edge and their idea fits the landscape of the region according to Carina Guzmán, the CEO of Creative Dev Ventures.
In an exclusive interview with myFM news, Carina Guzmán, the CEO of Creative Dev Ventures tells us that they hope to begin phase one fairly soon.
Urban Edge will include between 1,100 and 1,300 housing units when its complete. Guzmán says that they are looking to build partnerships along the way.
Connected to the Trans Canada Trail, the site combines natural beauty with urban convenience, resulting in easy accessibility to The City of Pembroke. The vision behind Urban Edge is to build a community that offers diverse, attainable housing, including purpose-built rentals, recreational trail systems, parks and play spaces alongside commercial and entrepreneurial hubs.
