Save the date for May 17th! Television writers, actors, and Just For Laughs veterans will take the stage at Festival Hall in Pembroke for an evening of laughter with The Great Canadian Comedy Caravan. Comedian and writer Rick Currie explained to myFM the motivation behind continuing these comedy tours.
Joining Currie are comedians Jim McNally, Rick Wharton, and Todd Reid, with Alastair McAlastair hosting the show. McAlastair, an Ottawa-based comedian with 35 years of experience, shared why the group finds these tours essential and values giving back.
McAlastair expressed gratitude to Murphy Ford for sponsoring the event. Currie discusses what lies ahead for this ensemble of comedians.
The group has previously taken the stage at the Station Theatre in Smiths Falls and the Town Hall Auditorium in Carleton Place, raising funds for The Boys and Girls Club of Canada. They aim to continue their support for the charity with their performance at Festival Hall.
