Renfrew County Crime Stoppers is revisiting an unsolved crime and released a photo of the suspect.
In an April 24 post on the Crimestoppers website, Crime Stoppers reports that the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a cash donation box from the counter of a restaurant on Pembroke Street East in Pembroke.
On Jan. 22, just after 9 p.m., an unknown person entered the business and stole a hospital donation box. The individual fled on foot and was last seen southbound on Catherine Street.
The person of interest is described as approximately 5ft 6in. with a medium build. They were carrying a black backpack and wearing glasses, dark clothing, and a hoodie. A photo of the individual is attached.
