Ontario Provincial Police from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment are in the midst of an ongoing police operation on Greenwood Road in Laurentian Valley Township this afternoon.
A post on East Region OPP X (Twitter) at 12:21 pm. on Tuesday, May 14, reports that OPP have one individual in custody and there is no known threat to public safety.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area and say updates will be provided when information becomes available.
