A vexing postal code situation has arisen in Petawawa, where several businesses and residents share the Pembroke K8A postal code, leading to a host of issues. Mayor Gary Service highlighted this concern during the council meeting on May 13th, as Canada Post prepares to tackle the matter head-on.
The overlapping postal code has resulted in numerous challenges for Petawawa residents and businesses. Problems range from incorrect newspaper deliveries to difficulties in switching phone numbers and complications with food deliveries, among others.
In response to these issues, the council plans to take action by sending out notifications to affected residents and businesses. Seeking community input, they aim to gather feedback before implementing any changes to the postal code system.
With the support of Canada Post, Petawawa endeavors to resolve the postal code confusion, ensuring seamless service and convenience for all residents and businesses in the area.
