The Town of Petawawa has been reducing their carbon footprint in new developments and in green initiatives. In the May 27th council meeting, Mayor Gary Service sat down with myFM news to talk about what they have done to lower it.
Another example of where they are trying to use green initiatives would be in the new Public Work’s Building which is being developed. Service explained how in their new developments they can improve things to be less harmful to the environment.
Service stated that they are still moving in the direction to become more eco-friendly and keep lowering their footprint.
