It’s a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad and it’s rolling into Cobden this Saturday.
The Cobden Agricultural Society hosts the RCMP Musical Ride this Saturday, June 8, at the Cobden Fairgrounds and organizers invite the public to bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment.
The funs starts at 2 p.m. with entertainment by Dale Yuke and free face painting for the children, followed by the Musical Ride at 3 p.m.
Gates open at 1 p.m. and bleachers are limited. Members of the public are permitted to bring their own lawn chairs, as well.
The performance goes ahead rain or shine so bring your umbrellas, say organizers. Attendees are also asked to please not bring dogs to the performance, unless they are service animals.
Food will be available for purchase on site. Tickets are $15 per person, anyone three years old and under gets in free.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. All proceeds benefit the Cobden Agricultural Society.
