It’s an experience that could enrich your home, lives, the community, and local schools.
YES Canada, a family-focused student exchange company, in partnership with the Renfrew County District School Board, is seeking families within Renfrew County to host international students from a wide range of countries and cultural backgrounds.
For the participating high school students, host families provide a home away from home in a safe and nurturing environment, three meals per day and the opportunity to become a family member.
A monthly stipend is provided to host families to offset costs and local co-ordinators and the experienced YES Canada team provide guidance and ongoing support for prior to and during a student’s stay.
If you are interested in hosting an international high school student or would like to learn more about YES Canada’s homestay program, and the many benefits of becoming a host, the organizations would like to connect with you. Hosting opportunities are available throughout next school year for possible durations of 2, 3, 5, 10 and 12 months.
