A 24-year-old driver from Petawawa left with more than they bargained for following a weekend trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru in Renfrew.
Renfrew OPP reported on X (formerly Twitter) that the driver was stopped and is now facing charges of impaired driving, over 80 and open alcohol.
The individual’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and they received a 90-day licence suspension. The charges have not been proven in court.
“Came for the McNuggets, left with a McDUI,” reads the post, which was made at June 16, at 6:19 p.m.
