Make it three straight for Renfrew racer Ryan Arbuthnot, who has kept his crown after his latest thrilling evening at the Brockville Ontario Speedway.
The defending track champion was part of this weekend’s DIRTCar 358 Modified race, where he would chase down frontrunners Matt Billings and Kalen Draper before pulling away to an uncontested lead in the final laps and eventual win.
Ryan would note post-race that hot and humid track conditions made for some tight action around the corners.
Despite the concerns about the track’s difficulty that evening, Arbuthnot was quick to turn the spotlight to family, crew, and sponsors, heaping praise on the people who support him.
The victory is Arbuthnot’s third 358 Modified win of the season at Brockville.
