Doris Oelke passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday evening August 24, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Doris Oelke of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Elmer Oelke. Loved mother of Wendy Trahan (Mark), Mark Oelke (Denise), Shelley Kelford (late Bill) and the late Lee Oelke (June Caul). Loving grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Janice Musclow, June Hoffman (late Gary) and her parents Leo and Anne (nee Felhaber) Musclow. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Doris with her family during visitation on Wednesday August 28th, 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 29th at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church 516 Airport Road, Pembroke. Interment Christ Lutheran Cemetery. In memory of Doris, donations to Christ Lutheran Church or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated
